Need to mention that problems started when I installed KDE 4.5, did not have any unmounting problems with 4.4.2. I have also filed a report to KDE:
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=248539 Now, if I boot in recovery mode, drop to root console with network and login to my desktop from there, then shutdown/rebooting is clean and all devices are unmounted properly. Is that any helpful? I attach an output of "lsof" taken right before the unmounting takes place. ** Bug watch added: KDE Bug Tracking System #248539 http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=248539 ** Attachment added: "lsof-unclean.log" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/618786/+attachment/1508943/+files/lsof-unclean.log -- unclean unmount during shutdown/reboot https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/618786 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
