Public bug reported:
Removed Vista, and installed Windows XP Pro. No sound there either, but
fixed problem by installing Microsoft Universal Audio Architecture
driver, and Conextant sound driver OS2006203a. Found all driver info on
DriverPacks.net forum. http://forum.driverpacks.net/index.php
Installed Feisty 7.04 Beta next to XP in dual boot, and have Been using Feisty
since Herd 4, . . there hasn't been sound in Feisty since installing it. No
other problems detected so far. Uses Mobile Intel(R) 945GM Express Chipset
Family.
