Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: phpmyadmin

Dear LP,

I'm using Ubuntu 10.04 and through Synaptic Package Manager I was
installing phpmyadmin and mysql server for installing Joomla CMS.

After completion of the downloading, the GUI for setting up the
PHPMYADMIN password started. But even after filling the username and
password, the GUI was taking me to the screen of entering the password
again and again. The tooltip reported the as the MySql database is not
yet started, you can not proceed; but you can proceed by aborting or
ignoring this step. I opted both the ways one by one; but that didn't
prove to be useful and ultimately at the end of the Synaptic I got the
following error

E: phpmyadmin: subprocess installed post-installation script returned
error exit status 10

Please email me the solution for this.

Thanks & regards.
Vishal.
