Sorry, I tried to reproduce and I think I cant...

Here is the procedure I tried.
1) within ~/.gmrunrc add "TermExec = xfce4-terminal -x" line
2) start gmrun
3) type xcalc
4) Ctrl-Enter
--> See xcalc with xfce4-terminal
...thus it works - now cross check if it doesnt work without -x
5) within ~/.gmrunrc change to "TermExec = xfce4-terminal"
6) start gmrun
7) type xcalc
8) Ctrl-Enter
--> nothing happens, which is also the behaviour if I run xfce4-terminal xcalc
outside of gmrun,
thus I conclude that -x for the 1st run was provided to the xfce-terminal

Maybe I missunderstood your discription? Could you provide a guide how
to reproduce nonintended behaviour?

Thanks and BR - Henning
