Hi! Thanks for your bug report. The bug you describe has been fixed in
software-center. The password required to install applications is
'remembered' for 10-15 minutes before prompting you again for your
password. What we may want in the future is to use the same
authorization to install and remove applications, so that we don't need
to ask for a password to install applications and ask again for a
password to remove applications. Please continue to report any bugs you
may find in software-center. Thanks again for your help!
