Public bug reported:
When I start Ubuntu from power off, the system will not complete booting
and stops right before the logon screen comes up. All the prompts about
mounting disks etc occurs and is displayed but when the screen goes
blank the unit just sits there and never brings up the logon screen. It
is as if the program lost track of where to send the video output. I
manually shut down the IBM T22 laptop and then start it again. The
second time it has always completed the startup. This has occurred both
in the new Feisty beta and the previous Efty installations. I have a
dual boot system with WinXP. The T22 has all the standard features of
that product. It has the current BIOS release from IBM.
