While the Kubuntu-7.04-beta-desktop-i386 ran fine from the cd it
would not install properly.
The original was burned at 48x so I redid to 24x.
I have two cd readers on the test machine and both
gave same result. 24x install went further through but
hosed down near setting locales near the finish.
   I gave up and used a Kubuntu-6.10-desktop-I386 which was burned at
48x and it went through the install just fine.
