Hi there, thanks for the report!
As of Ubuntu 10.04, the Byobu now defaults to re-attaching to an open
session, rather than launching a new one.
However, it's trivial to launch a new one. Instead, just type:
$ byobu bash
So running "byobu" will start a new session if none exist, and attach to
one if one does exist. And "byobu bash" will start a new session every
time.
I'm converting this bug into a question, since it's a really good
question :-)
Cheers!
