IBM T41, Intel hardware, fresh Lucid: I see the problem only at a customer site, not at home. Home site uses WEP-128, customer site uses WEP-40. Customer WLAN is recognized, long delay, NM will eventually ask for the key over and over. Attempted to use iwconfig eth1 essid ID (with NM running, though), this resulted in a garbled ssid output for the device when iwconfig was listed.
