Hello all, Hal-info is now deprecated for music players (for more information, see https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Halsectomy). The new component in charge of this area is now media-player-info, and the metadata describing each media player has changed (fdi to mpi).
Regarding the current issue, and looking at latest media-player-info, this seems to be fixed : the u2 definition file in Lucid includes the MUSIC/ directory. http://bazaar.launchpad.net/~ubuntu-branches/ubuntu/lucid/media-player-info/lucid/annotate/head%3A/media-players/cowon-iaudio_u2.mpi Can you try your U2 in Lucid and see if it works properly for you ? From what I see, the patch is not needed anymore. Thanks. ** Changed in: hal-info (Ubuntu) Status: New => Incomplete -- hal-info is wrong for music player iAUDIO U2 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/346947 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
