Unfortunately, I can't tell - I would have to reformat a machine and reinstall Ubuntu from scratch with QWERTY, then switch to DVORAK to see what would happen. I don't have a machine spare I can do that to at the moment, maybe someone else does? Or maybe I'll get a spare machine later. Sorry.
