On an up to date Lucid box i am unable to get Plymouth showing
correctly. I don't see the boot screen often since i have been
walking away from it on boot however the shutdown, the full screen
is purple with all terminated apps in white text with squares with
red dots in there. this is same on Maverick.
I will keep an eye out for boot up screen but IIRC it doesn't show
at all.
