** Description changed:

I am using Ubuntu 10.04 in my PC. Now I connected LCD monitor through
LCD TV BOX (External Tuner Card) and hence I can not increase screen
resolution. I can only select only 800x600 and 640x480.

  The out of 'xrandr' is

  Screen 0: minimum 640 x 480, current 800 x 600, maximum 800 x 600
  default connected 800x600+0+0 0mm x 0mm
- 800x600 60.0* 56.0
- 640x480 60.0
+    800x600 60.0* 56.0
+    640x480 60.0

When I connect LCD monitor with out Tuner card there is no problem. Then
  out of 'xrandr' is

  Screen 0: minimum 640 x 400, current 1360 x 768, maximum 1360 x 768
  default connected 1360x768+0+0 0mm x 0mm
- 1360x768 60.0*
- 1280x768 60.0
- 1024x768 75.0 60.0 70.0
- 832x624 75.0
- 800x600 75.0 60.0 72.0 56.0
- 640x480 75.0 60.0 73.0
- 720x400 70.0
+    1360x768 60.0*
+    1280x768 60.0
+    1024x768 75.0 60.0 70.0
+    832x624 75.0
+    800x600 75.0 60.0 72.0 56.0
+    640x480 75.0 60.0 73.0
+    720x400 70.0

Please help me to solve this problem.
