Ju Ping, does this problem occur during heavy network traffic? I have what may be the same problem--connection drops during heavy network usage on two WPA networks I've tried using Atheros AR9285. On at least the Belkin AP, rebooting the computer did not help, but power- cycling the AP allowed me to reconnect. I can reproduce the problem easily by copying a large file to another computer which is connected to the same AP.
By the way, the 4 commands listed above (restarting NM and reloading ath9k) did not allow me to reconnect; I had to power-cycle the Belkin AP. (NM restarts automatically with a new PID; this may be new behavior since the DebuggingNetworkManager page was written.) Installing package linux-backports-modules-wireless-lucid-generic did not seem to help. -- [Atheros AR9285 Wireless Network Adapter] cannot connect to [WPA/WPA2] https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/621152 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
