** Description changed: In Lucid on every system start, NetworkManager makes a delay before it connects to wireless network. Sometimes it takes 5 second, sometimes about 30. This behavior is annoying especially when I want to browse internet (well, in 95% of cases I do). It displays a pop-up "Wireless Networks Available. Click..." This behavior was also -not- present in Jaunty I used before.. + --- + Architecture: i386 + CRDA: Error: [Errno 2] No such file or directory + DistroRelease: Ubuntu 10.04 + IfupdownConfig: + auto lo + iface lo inet loopback + InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 10.04 LTS "Lucid Lynx" - Release i386 (20100429) + IpRoute: + 192.168.1.0/24 dev wlan0 proto kernel scope link src 192.168.1.92 metric 2 + 169.254.0.0/16 dev wlan0 scope link metric 1000 + default via 192.168.1.1 dev wlan0 proto static + Keyfiles: Error: [Errno 2] No such file or directory + Package: network-manager 0.8-0ubuntu3 + PackageArchitecture: i386 + ProcEnviron: + LANG=en_US.utf8 + SHELL=/bin/bash + ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 2.6.32-24.41-generic 2.6.32.15+drm33.5 + RfKill: + 0: phy0: Wireless LAN + Soft blocked: no + Hard blocked: no + Tags: lucid + Uname: Linux 2.6.32-24-generic i686 + UserGroups: adm admin cdrom dialout lpadmin plugdev sambashare ** Attachment added: "Dependencies.txt" https://bugs.edge.launchpad.net/bugs/609744/+attachment/1521114/+files/Dependencies.txt -- NetworkManager delay before connection https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/609744 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
