Hi Pedro, Yes, this bug is still there. I am still using pidgin 2.4.1. Unfortunately, I am still under 8.04.4 LTS, because a bug with the wifi microcode (iwl4965) prevents me from upgrading (https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/200509).
