On a drive where the audio CDs are not recognized, please do the
following:
- Remove CD
- Open a Terminal
- run "udevadm monitor -e --udev 2>&1 | tee /tmp/monitor.log
- insert CD
- wait about 20 seconds
- press Control-C
Now attach /tmp/monitor.log here. Also, with the CD still in the drive,
please give me the output of
sudo /lib/udev/cdrom_id --debug /dev/sr0
sudo /lib/udev/cdrom_id --debug /dev/sr1
sudo /lib/udev/cdrom_id --debug /dev/sr2
Only one of those will be relevant; we need to find the one which just
got the CD, but if you just do all three of those, I'll see the one
which has the medium.
