I asked about this upstream. Apparently the fix will be in gst-plugins- base 0.10.31 - see comments 5 and 6 at https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=620939
If you still want to send me the 500MB file you can place it on one of those temporary file hosting sites that forum posters often use. Sorry I can't be more specific with a name, but I've never used one myself. I've just grabbed other peoples files on rare occasions to help them with their bugs and I don't have time to go looking now.
