Hello
Is this problem present with the latest updated Karmic's or Lucid's packages?
If yes please runin a terminal these commands:
apport-collect 461005
apport-collect -p wine 461005
Btw you can easily workaround this problem installing Ubuntu as independent OS,
so you can see his real power, and chose at startup wich system use.
