I have had this proble with ubuntu 5.10 for PPC, ubuntu 6.10 for PPC and devian
31r5 for PPC
I have not tryed with ubuntu 6.06
Some years ago I installed suse 6.4 and suse 7.1 for PPC it worked OK. but
after this, for some year suse stoped PowerPC distibution. Now with openSuse
there is openSuse version for machintosh but the problem is the same. It has
not inted the SCSI module in de kernel
( I have added this in the bug report)
