Hello, I assume you are using a tool like wget and try to download a file from the web. If this does not work, this is rather not a bug in gnome- terminal, but I might have a hint on solving your problem:
Your problem might be one of these: 1.) You are calling the url without quotes, which means http... instead of "http...". As you url contains a quotation mark, your shell misinterprets this. So try using "http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X6vcq_VxMFg&feature=related". 2.) You are not using a tool for downloading files from youtube. Have a look at the package "youtube-dl". Please let us know if this helps. ** Changed in: gnome-terminal (Ubuntu) Status: New => Incomplete -- cannot download from the terminal on youtube https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/625796 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is a direct subscriber. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
