Binary package hint: pulseaudio
Summary: Sound is sporadically going out with HDMI to my tv. I can't
pinpoint what's causing it or when it happens. Sometimes I can go 10-15
minutes with no problem but then it fails, other times it fails
immediately. When it cuts out it seems like it'll never come back. Also,
the problem seems to be worse when I start a video with sound coming out
of my laptop and then switch it over to the tv (vs having it to HDMI
before video starts). Watching a video right now to see if it happens
again.
I upgraded to 10.10 to see if that would fix it, no luck.
I'm willing to provide any additional information as sound has consistently
been a problem for me.
