This is a request for a Feature Freeze Exception, per https://wiki.ubuntu.com/FreezeExceptionProcess#General Instructions
Proposed changes: The proposed change disables the application menu while the application is frozen, and re-enables them if the application recovers. Rationale for the exception: The new appmenu feature is the default menu interface on Netbooks (UNE). Without this feature, it doesn't prevent users from activating application menu items when the application itself is stuck or unresponsive after a first attempt at using its menu. The current version (without the change) only removes the whole menubar once an application is terminated either normally or abnormally. Additional information: the patch is available at http://bazaar.launchpad.net/~indicator-applet-developers/indicator-appmenu/trunk/revision/54 -- Manage unresponsive applications https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/591188 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
