Binary package hint: network-manager-gnome
Seen in Edgy AMD64, Edgy x86, and Feisty Beta x86.
If a connection is made to a wireless network using wifi radar (or other
means) the network manager gnome applet will not recognize the
connection. Other apps will recognize it (including a gdesklet) and be
able to use it, but the applet will not.
