As requested: 1. removed options line from alsa-base.conf file 2. rebooted 3. uploading dmesg output
After doing all that, for some reason my sound is still working. Is something caching the hardware information? Do I need to do something else to get back to the non-working state? ** Attachment added: "dmesg-20100830" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/alsa-driver/+bug/625981/+attachment/1531124/+files/dmesg-20100830 -- RealTek 888 ICH10 not detected by default https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/625981 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
