cannot install ubuntu 10.04 to laptop at all, tried no acpi booted once never to restart...
what is with ubuntu ? toshiba is one the largest laptop manufacturers in the world. i have been using ubuntu since dapper and managed to work through all the issues and always succeeded. have spent so many hours on this one about to go to different distro. last attempt was to load 9.10 which does boot and load, just no ethernet now. will start trying distros next, until now had loved ubuntu, but feel let down that it will not work at all on a major brand name popular laptop. somebody missed the boat on this one. -- BUG: unable to handle kernel NULL pointer dereference at 00000100 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/606132 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
