With more detail, and less frustration: the KDE print wizard appropriately sees the Epson on the FC5 box. The error box says Unable to create the Foomatic driver [Epson_C84 gimp-print]. I got the same response to the other drivers except CUPS+Gutenprint. From Adept, I installed everything foomatic. Same result. I tried CUPS+Gutenprint, and was allowed to print a test page. Nothing happened. I restarted CUPS and tried the Foomatic drivers. Same result, i.e. Cannot create..., but offered a test page. I took it, and mirable dictu! She printed. HTH
