on debian squeeze(testing) same issue here.
sysinfos: asus k42jv, 2.6.32 amd64 kernel, 1.0.23 alsa., codec ALC259
i found out that you have to make following changes with hda analyzer
to mute notebook speakers and get headphone sound:
- Node[0x14] PIN -> Val[0] + Val[1] -> mute
- Node[0x1a] PIN -> Connection List -> Audio Mixer [0x0c]
0x14 is the speakers trigger and 0x1a
for headphones.
is there a way to apply these changes script based on system boot?
