Is /var/log/udev max 32kb on your system altogether, or are there max
32kb per boot?
I have:
# ls -lh /var/log/udev
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 265K 2010-09-01 18:31 /var/log/udev
(Ubuntu Maverick)
