Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gwibber

How do I uninstall the buggy behemoth (including beam.smp and couchdb)
and reclaim all the disk-space it has eaten up with God-knows-what?
Using default install of Gwibber 2.30.1 with only one Twitter account
registered on it, on Ubuntu 10.04 (upgraded from 9.10)

Why is this so bad on LTS Ubuntu? It is as bad as Vista at its worst.

This behaviour is a show-stopper for Ubuntu 10.04

** Affects: gwibber (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New

Gwibber creates massive CPU and disk demands (via beam.smp etc) and is only
