I'm running Kubuntu 7.04 Kernel 2.6.20-13 All current patches etc
30/03/07 8:33 EST (Australia) I have the same problem, I have 2 x HP
printers connected via int Jetdirect network cards, 1st HP2200 2nd
HP4350 both on bootup are stopped. I right click in the network
properties box & start the printers & they say they are accepting jobs
but the spooled jobs after 10 secs revert to held I found this error in
the cups web interface

"Backend /usr/lib/cups/backend/socket does not exist!"

Cups version 1.2.8 When I first starting probs I couldn't print PDF's
from Adobe & KPDF now nothing prints.

Cheers Cary
