Overnight my computer went into sleep mode and would not wake up when pressing the wake hot keys on keyboard, jiggling the touchpad, pressing enter, etc. I had to restart manually.
When I restarted and loaded the correct partition (the one that gave me yesterday's error message), I got the following: error: no such device: 1cf9084e-f86b-447d-af7d-1a9db51dd094. error: unknown file system error: you need to load the kernel first. press any key to continue... Does anyone have any idea what is going on? Please, please help, as this is my only computer and I am out of a job, so I need it to work. I have another partition that works, which is how I can post here, but it doesn't have any of my files on it. Any assistance would be great. -- package linux-image-2.6.32-24-generic 2.6.32-24.42 failed to install/upgrade: subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 1 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/628521 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
