Hello,
i read a lot about sound issues after a kernel upgrade to version greater than
2.6.20-11.
This is also a problem with my soundcard:
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ lspci | grep audio
04:09.0 Multimedia audio controller: C-Media Electronics Inc CM8738 (rev 10)
Somewhere it was recommended to compile alsa from sources which broke on
my machine during the make process. This couldn't solve my 'no sound'
issue.
If i could provide you with further information please tell me how to.
