For me, the workaround command fails with: > No such schema `org.gnome.Empathy.conversation' specified in override file `/usr/share/glib-2.0/schemas/ubuntu-artwork.gschema.override'
This is probably because I had uninstalled empathy before. After reinstalling empathy, `sudo glib-compile-schemas /usr/share/glib-2.0/schemas1` finishes successfully and gcalctool no longer crashes on startup. When I remove empathy again, the trigger runs and fails with the same message. I suppose removing adium-theme-ubuntu would fix this but it is a hard dependency of ubuntu-artwork which is a hard dependency of ubuntu- desktop, which is "also used to help proper upgrades, so it is recommended that it not be removed" (from package description). -- glib-compile-schemas trigger not run after installation GCalctool https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/602175 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
