Hi Seb, Unfortunately I have only had an IRC conversation with Matt. No bug was reported upstream, it was simply in the works. Please let me know if you would like me to file a bug upstream or if any additional work is needed to clarify the intentions of evolution developers in regards to upcoming versions. Cheers.
