I'm unable to reproduce this on Ubuntu 10.10 "Maverick Meerkat" alpha 3 updated to Firefox 3.6.9+build1+nobinonly-0ubuntu1 ATI Radeon 9800 Pro 128 Mb (R350) with open-source drivers if that matters.
