I an not confirm this Bug as described in 10.4

But i experience it this way:
normally marking mails as spam works and they disappear.

But somehow i find lots of them still (or again?) in my inbox.
I just didn't yet find any rule behind it. So i gues it happens after or while
i did some things in parallel:

normally i scan through my new mail - let's say about 50 mails and do
only read about 1 or 2 the rest i delete or mark as spam each one on
it's own normally, or in big bunches.

I am always "irritated" about the status display showing the status of
junk training -- then seeming to have lots of jobs on a work pipe doing
one by another...

How ca i track this misbehavior? s there a good log file one could
enable?
