I tried refiling the bug because of recommendation to use -p parameter for ubuntu-bug but at that second attempt accidently the GUI reaction got good and fast again immediately after using ubuntu-bug -p even before the first confirmation dialog came up to report the bug (see Bug #631060 ).
I did not cancel this first report because I imagine it makes sense to compare both sets of logfiles because for Bug #631060 it can be that the logfiles already report the status when the problem already was gone. I notice that it seems xrandr was called automatically (because at the same time when the GUI got fast again, the TV1 was again active (which happens from time to time on my machine when gdm tries to find out the active and available monitors). The next time when this issue happens I will try calling xrandr to find out if this solves the problem. -- graphical interface with slow reaction https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/631054 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
