** Description changed:
Binary package hint: chromium-browser
After starting chromium for the first time I told it to be the default
browser. Opening links from other applications correctly opens them in
chromium, but it tells me it isn't the default browser.
- Manually setting chromium as the default browser in "system -> preferences ->
preferred applications" solves this.
- If I tell chromium to set itself as the default browser, the default browser
in "preferred applications" is set to custom, command
"/usr/lib/chromium-browser %s".
+ If I tell chromium to set itself as the default browser, the default
+ browser in "preferred applications" is set to custom (command "/usr/lib
+ /chromium-browser %s") instead of the chromium entry. Manually selecting
+ "chromium" in "preferred applications" doesn't solve this.
