Public bug reported:
I used the Debian package (9.6 MB) Xandros, MEPIS, Ubuntu, other Debian-based
distros to download and install Skype from the Skype homepage.
It would be a dream if every application installed so easily. With one
exception Skype worked fine.
The sound from my microphone was extremely weak. Which of Ubuntu's application
is used/should I use for recording sound from my microphone?
Please include Skype in your packages of approved applications.
