The workaround suggested is to change the render sample rate to 48khz from 44.1khz, and this does indeed improve the problem, but certainly doesn't remove it.
There is however a note on the Gnome bug tracker:- Edward Hervey [pitivi developer] 2010-06-19 11:02:22 UTC > Just pushed a commit that should fix the issue. Could people try it and report > whether it fixes the issue for them ? > > commit 508be3f65e3b2629e9f45eec04f48df0158e8170 > Author: Edward Hervey <[email protected]> > Date: Sat Jun 19 13:00:52 2010 +0200 > > SourceFactory: Fix audio jitter of up to 40ms > > Should fix #589684 This is certainly post the 0.13.4 version of PiTiVi in the Maverick beta which I have been testing, which I believe is the same version as Lucid (Where I have also seen this issue). Unfortunately this is the latest stable release of PiTiVi. -- pitivi: some video tracks' sound distorted https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/591531 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
