I can confirm this bug still exists in the latest Mavrick verson 10.10
(Beta).

My laptop is a Dell Inspiron 600m.

Following the steps on this page to try and debug the problem:

After suspend succeeded but failed to resume (hard drive and fans
restart), I power-cycled and recovered this from the dmesg:
