I can't reproduce this either, several fresh installs of Lucid have a working bash autocompletion.
This is with new user accounts, and the autocompletion feature is enabled in $HOME/.bashrc. It is disabled in /etc/bash.bashrc. Thus this might be a problem for existing user accounts without autocompletion enabled in $HOME/.bashrc. IMHO disabling autocompletion in the system wide /etc/bash.bashrc file is good, because otherwise it can't be easily disabled for some user accounts. -- autocompletion is partly broken in Karmic https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/477753 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
