Public bug reported: I am using a Linux Certified laptop, model # LC2440N [1]. The resolution supported by the display hardware is 1680x1050. On 6.10, my resolution was correctly detected. On 7.04, my resolution is set to 1024x768.
I tried following the instructions listed in the DebuggingXAutoconfiguration page [2], but I was unable to get my text console working.
