Thanks for your bugreport.
This issue is mostly solved. The mirrors file is updated dynamically
from the main mirror list on launchpad now. I addtionn it will ask if
your sources.list contains only unknown sources.list entries. Your
sources.list was special because it had a single "deb
http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ edgy main" line in it.
When you say it added a single line, was that maybe the line that you
mentioned in your last comment?
