Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gnome-terminal

I noticed in Maverick when you load up gnome terminal it's not 80x24. Instead
it's 80x22. I went into the profile properties and changed it to 80x24 by
default, and lo! a new window was 80x22. So I decided to set the default to
80x43, but when I created a new window it was 80x41.
In each case, it seems that a new gnome terminal window is 2 rows shorter than
it should be.
