I've added a patch by Lars (the liferea developer) to fix this.
Please, test the liferea_1.2.10b-0ubuntu2.deb and
liferea-mozilla_1.2.10b-0ubuntu2.deb from http://emilio.pozuelo.org/deb/
And report if solves the issue
