Binary package hint: firefox
Sometimes when I enter text into web forms with Firefox, the entire text
field becomes selected. The next keystroke replaces the previously
typed and selected text with just that one character.
I observed this many times with 10.04. I just installed 10.10 on
2010-09-07, but haven't had enough time to determine whether it
persists.
This is with a first generation early 2006 Core Duo (not Core 2 Duo)
MacBook Pro, Model Indentifier MacBookPro1,1.
There are so many input bugs in both the Firefox and Chrome browsers
that I find Ubuntu completely unusable.
