Hmm, I tried the same thing on my other feisty computer and on that one
btdownloadgui worked with just wxgtk2.6 installed. So I tried to remove
wxgtk2.8 again from the original computer and btdownloadgui surprisingly
still worked. I'm not sure what the fault really was, might have been
some misconfiguration in wxgtk that was fixed after and
install/uninstall of wxgtk2.8 but might have be something else.
Closing this bug since I can't reproduce it any more.
