Public bug reported:
The ahci driver doesn't work, ata_piix should be used without ahci
loaded for this laptop
In edgy, ata_piix doesn't detect the disc. But in the lastest prerelease
of Feisty, unloading ahci is enough. I had to add it to the blacklist
module file and then regenerate the initramfs.
For people without enough skills this means that they can't have ubuntu
on their laptop (I'm aware of a couple of laptop models with this
problem).
